I studied Journalism at the University of Winchester, and have been writing professionally ever since.
Having started my career as a marketing coordinator, I soon realised my passion was in the copy; in the building of a brand personality and in the storytelling. Now, I enjoy the freedom that being a freelance copywriter offers, allowing me to work from anywhere.
I am also the editor and writer of the magazine 'Within Reach' for the charity Reach - helping children with upper limb difference live a life without limits. This is a particularly wonderful and personally fulfililng part of my work, having been born with an upper limb difference myself I love being able to share the voices of the Reach community.

In my work and life I always enjoy and seek opportunities for self-development, a degree of competitiveness and of course, creativity. I believe that work, like life, must always progress, challenge, and above all, make you happy.

In 2014 my husband and I left the UK and spent two years travelling and working abroad before returning to the UK and setting our sights on the greatest challenge we'd ever faced, hiking the entire 2,189-mile Appalachian Trail in the USA. In 2017 we completed our thru-hike; a gruelling, tear-inducing wonder of an experience and an unforgettable 5 months walking and wild camping our way from Georgia to Maine through 14 States of America.

Nowadays, when I'm not writing you can find me drawing and painting, or swimming, climbing and hiking. My love of the mountains and nature motivated me to work towards the Mountain Leader qualification, so watch this space.
I also volunteer as a social media officer and support for the Search and Rescue Dogs Association Wales, and I am a full team member of the Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team. here in North Wales.
